Following is a chronological log of developments in the J. Appleseed project, including specific information about major revisions to the proposal, as well other information related to the history and evolution of the project.
15/01/05 Web site revamped by Colin Hume.
04/01/02 Pathetic attempt at creating a web site to help communicate about organization is launched.
02/16/01 Preliminary web site copy drafted.
02/14/02 Rough design of web site applications started.
02/12/02 Initial message for recruiting next round reviewers and possible organization advisors and directors created and sent. Preliminary (Version 0.0) web site outline created.
01/05/02 Domain names j-appleseed.org, j-appleseed.net and j-appleseed.com registered. E-mail accounts for j-appleseed.org created.
01/02/02 Domain name registration process started.
09/15/01 First draft (alpha) version of proposal distributed, by mail to a group of 10 friends/colleagues for review.
08/25/01 Draft copy of a proposal for a new organization, tentatively called the J.Appleseed Foundation, was started.
